Practical Management Club

The Practical Management Club is a group of top managers who meet on a regular basis once a month to discuss current professional issues and possible solutions. A frequent topic at present is the economic crisis, its likely development, and how individual managers cope with it. Meetings of the Club are joined by guests from different business areas. The meetings are not strictly of a working nature, and thanks to their informal character they encourage mutual sharing of knowledge, joint business, relaxation and obviously fun.

Current Club members

Ing. David Šigut

In corporate management since 1998. He worked as part of the management team at ČKD VAGONKA a.s., VÍTKOVICE Doprava a.s., VÍTKOVICE STROJÍRENSTVÍ, a.s., and SLEZAN Frýdek-Místek a.s. He is currently finance manager of Jihomoravské pivovary, a.s. brewery in Vyškov.

Ing. Petr Chocholatý

He's been in the business of international haulage and transport for years. He is currently general director of DSV Road a.s., a subsidiary of the Danish multinational.

Ing. Petr Mitura

He has been in corporate consulting since 1995, specialising in finance and controlling. He was the finance manager of Démos trade, a.s. from 2002, and since 2003 he's been an executive director and member of the board of Démos trade, a.s. and a member of the board of Démos group, a.s.

Ing. Jaroslav Zachurczok

He was in mining strategy and investments for many years. He's been the executive director and chairman of the board of VÚHŽ since 2007 (part of Třinecké železárny Group). He occasionally lectures on economics and investment.

Ing. Jiří Dedek

He worked as economist for Vítkovice, a.s.. He's been in corporate consulting since 2000. He subsequently worked as a director in several machine engineering companies.

Ing. Roman Gola

He's been in the field of corporate consulting since 1995, specialising in the areas of finance, financial and cost controlling, sales systems, optimising headcount and organisational structure. Apart from consultancy activities, he's formed part of interim management teams in the positions of general director and economist. He is currently the general director of OLEO CHEMICAL, a.s.
